Vleepo
Vleepo is a new social-networking mobile application that redefines what group chat can be. User could create a “vleepo” as a customizable canvas that allows users to group chat, blog, host events, share media contents, and build communities on the platform. It pulls people, activities and content closer together while providing relevant vleepos based on interests, friends, location.

Brief
Our team worked through potential solutions to improve the overall user experience by adopting an agile design sprint approach. We focused on “Discover” feature where merging discover vleepos and discover people into on Discover tab, allowing users to look for relevant vleepos and new people in one place.
DESIGN OUTCOME
Discover Vleepos
For the purpose of improving the usability of Discover page, we provide vleepo categories, followed by trending vleepo list, to replace current interests filter. Users can view through different categories according to their preferences without setting up personal interests. We also introduce map feature where nearby events can be easily discovered based on user’s location.
Discover People
To make discovering people more informative and engaging, we redesign people list in ‘Card’ format along with latest activity and friends information. A Tinder-ish fun feature is also a part of our proposal; swipe card left to discard, swipe card right to follow, and tap card to view profile detail.
Prototype
We chose Xcode as our primary prototyping tool in order deliver a clear idea of how the interface elements work. Sketch & Zeplin are also applied in the process of building prototype.
